Charleston's Saviour or just another False Prophet?

I have just recently joined the throngs of thousands left unemployed all over the country and find myself again asking the question, "how did all this happen?" I thought I was following what happened in the world fairly closely, even having to pry myself away from the news most times because I was getting so obsessed in what was going on in the world that it was consuming me. Before I was mindful of all those who were forced out of work because our greed based economy had destroyed itself. I knew these people would have such a hard time finding work again in this climate, some even having to find a completely diffrent career from what they had been doing for the majority of their lives. Entire retirements have been wiped out after a single days trading on Wall Street. Families houses foreclosed on because when it came down to paying the mortgage or feeding the themselves they had to decided between shelter or life. Big businesses coming in with bags of money acting like saviours to the nation only to exploit those who are suffering because they know they can pay low wages and work everyone longer hours because people are frightened they will lose everything they have if they can't pay their bills. Then the day comes where the company with the big bags of money tells everyone they are not meeting the requirements of the impossible deadlines they have set so they start the systematic plan to force everyone out of their jobs and move to a diffrent location where they can once again reap the rewards of tax breaks and locally funded economical jumpstart programs because they know in the end they can just write any financil loss off of their taxes. Welcome to todays economy, where blue collar jobs mean that you will be unemployed for the majority of your career and there is no such thing as retirement. Now, where do we go from here?
